The Animo Venice Pirates topped the visiting Animo Watts Warriors volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's league test.

The Pirates now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bright Star Secondary Charter Academy for a Crosstown/Ocean test on Wednesday, April 6. Animo Venice will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 league win over Animo Watts (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.

The Warriors (3-9) will now prepare for their test against WISH Academy (Los Angeles, CA). The Owls enter the Crosstown/Ocean challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, WISH Academy was dropped by Los Angeles Leadership Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
