Connecticut High School Volleyball - New Britain over Wethersfield

New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT) backers left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Golden Hurricanes battle the Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers (Hartford, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 6. New Britain will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT).

With the loss, Wethersfield drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to East Hartford (East Hartford, CT) to battle the Hornets in a Central Connecticut - East match on Friday, April 8. The Hornets come into the match with a record of 0-1. East Hartford lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Farmington (Farmington, CT)
