The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) and the host Cape Fear Colts (Fayetteville, NC), saw Union Pines's lacrosse team top Cape Fear by a margin of 17-5.
The Vikings (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC). The Bulldogs enter the United 8/All American/Sandhills challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Terry Sanford was overwhelmed by Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), 13-11, in a non-league challenge.
The Colts (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, Garner was overwhelmed by Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC), 13-6, in a league challenge.
