Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC), 3-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A challenge, on Tuesday, April 5. Bandys will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Red Devils come into the test with a 5-5 record after their 8-0 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).

With the loss, Maiden drops to 6-2 on the season. The Blue devils host Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC) to meet the Bears in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Tuesday, April 5. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-5. Bunker Hill lost 7-0 in their recent league test against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC)
