Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Crusaders confront the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Wednesday, April 6. Christ the King will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Pride enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 5-2 league loss to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC).

The Lions now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Island Charter for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, April 6. Langtree Charter will confront a Raptor team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Raptor record now stands at 1-7.
