The crowd at Monday's non-league test between the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) and the host Eastern Wayne Warriors (Goldsboro, NC), saw Southern Wayne's soccer squad get by Eastern Wayne by a margin of 2-1.

The Saints now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to West Johnston for a Quad County 3A test on Tuesday, April 5. Southern Wayne will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Eastern Wayne drops to 5-7 on the season. The Warriors travel to Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC) to meet the Gators in a Neuse Six 2A test on Tuesday, April 5. The Gators come into the test with a record of 1-8. Spring Creek lost 5-0 in their recent league test against North Johnston (Kenly, NC)
