Burlingame Panthers (Burlingame, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host St. Ignatius Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Panthers now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Aragon for a challenge on Wednesday, April 6. Burlingame will battle a Dons squad coming off a 16-3 league win over El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-4.
