Uxbridge Spartans (Uxbridge, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Quaboag Regional Cougars (Warren, MA), 28-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tantasqua Regional for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6.
With the loss, Quaboag Regional falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Northbridge (Whitinsville, MA) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
