In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Gainesville Hurricanes lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-7 victory over the St. Joseph Academy Flashes.
The Hurricanes now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Stanton for a non-league test on Thursday, April 7. Gainesville will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine, FL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-8.
In their next game, the Flashes face the Santa Fe Raiders (Alachua, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 5. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 5-4 league win over Gainesville (Gainesville, FL).
