Wade Hampton Red Devils (Hampton, SC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC), 2-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Red Devils confront the Ridgeland/Hardeeville Jaguars (Ridgeland, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 7. Wade Hampton will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 league loss to Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC).
The Warhorses now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Edisto for a AA Region 5 challenge on Thursday, April 7. Barnwell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Patrick Henry Academy (Estill, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-4.
