Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS), 6-3 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Tishomingo County for a 4A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, April 7. Itawamba Agricultural will face a Braves squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Braves record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Caledonia falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Corinth (Corinth, MS) to face the Warriors in a 4A Region 1 challenge on Thursday, April 7. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 14-4. Corinth won 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Shannon (Shannon, MS)
