Concordia Cardinals (Round Rock, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Central Texas Christian Lions (Temple, TX), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Faith Academy for a TAPPS Division III District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 7.

With the loss, Central Texas Christian falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lions host Reicher Catholic (Waco, TX) to battle the Cougars in a TAPPS Division IV District 3 challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
