The crowd at Monday's league match between the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) and the visiting Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA), saw Jersey Shore's softball squad nip Danville by a count of 3-2.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Montgomery for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 5.

With the loss, Danville falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA) to face the Seals in a Heartland I match on Tuesday, April 5. The Seals enter the match with a record of 1-3. Selinsgrove won 21-4 in their recent non-league match against Line Mountain (Herndon, PA)
