The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) and the host Marked Tree Indians (Marked Tree, AR), saw East Poinsett County's softball squad achieve victory over Marked Tree by a count of 16-0.

The Warriors now sport a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cross County for a 2A-3 match on Tuesday, April 5.

With the loss, Marked Tree falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR) to face the Screamin Eagles in a 1A-3 match on Tuesday, April 5. The Screamin Eagles enter the match with a record of 0-1.
