Folsom Bulldogs (Folsom, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Whitney for a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Wednesday, April 6. Folsom will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 14-2 league win over Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Granite Bay falls to 9-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to face the Thunder in a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Wednesday, April 6. The Thunder enter the challenge with a record of 6-8. Rocklin lost 5-3 in their recent league challenge against Del Oro (Loomis, CA)
