McCreary Central Raiders (Stearns, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clay County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. McCreary Central will face a Tigers squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Harlan falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Green dragons host Bell County (Pineville, KY) to face the Bobcats in a District 52 challenge on Tuesday, April 12. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
