The Sabinal Yellowjackets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Knippa Crushers to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sabinal moves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Three Rivers (Three Rivers, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 31 game on Thursday, April 7. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 6-9. Three Rivers lost 10-0 in their recent league game against Charlotte (Charlotte, TX)

In their next game, the Crushers clash with the Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 31 game, on Friday, April 8. Knippa will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
