Medford Mustangs (Medford, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lynn English Bulldogs (Lynn, MA), 15-3 in a league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lynn Classical for a Northeast challenge on Wednesday, April 6.

With the loss, Lynn English falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Revere (Revere, MA) to face the Patriots in a Northeast challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
