The Sequatchie County Indians softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Marion County Warriors to 3 in the Indians non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Sequatchie County moves its record to 12-7 on the year. The Indians host York Institute (Jamestown, TN) to clash with the Dragons in a 2A District 5 game on Tuesday, April 5. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 2-3. York Institute lost 17-2 in their recent non-league game against Oneida (Oneida, TN)

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences Patriots (Chattanooga, TN) in a 2A District 4 game, on Tuesday, April 5. Marion County will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots come into the game with a 3-2 record after their 15-1 non-league win over Red Bank (Chattanooga, TN).
