The Prout Crusaders routed the visiting Narragansett Mariners softball squad by a count of 17-1 in Monday's league battle.

The Crusaders (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots go into the Division 2 A battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Portsmouth was routed by Westerly (Westerly, RI), 8-1, in a league battle.
