Tantasqua Regional Warriors (Fiskdale, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northbridge Rams (Whitinsville, MA), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Uxbridge for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. Tantasqua Regional will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Northbridge falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Bellingham (Bellingham, MA) to battle the Blackhawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Blackhawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Bellingham lost 12-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Blackstone-Millville (Blackstone, MA)
