The Weymouth Wildcats softball team scored 21 runs and limited the host Scituate Sailors to 20 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Weymouth moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Duxbury (Duxbury, MA) to play the Dragons in a non-league game on Thursday, April 7. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 0-1. Duxbury lost 26-7 in their recent non-league game against Carver (Carver, MA)

In their next game, the Sailors play the Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 6. Scituate will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Red Hawks come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 19-0 non-league loss to New Bedford (New Bedford, MA).
