West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 16-0 in a league challenge.

The Invaders now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wallenpaupack Area for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 5. West Scranton will face a Buckhorns squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Buckhorns record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Scranton falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to face the Comets in a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 5. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Abington Heights won 21-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)
