Illinois High School Baseball - Breese Central loses to Columbia

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Columbia Eagles baseball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Breese Central Cougars.
The Eagles (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Southwestern (Piasa, IL). The Piasa Birds go into the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Southwestern ran past Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL), 11-1, in a non-league game.
The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL). The Hiltoppers go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Hillsboro was overwhelmed by Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 12-0, in a non-league game.
