In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Chanute Blue Comets baseball team scored a tight 8-2 victory over the Parsons Vikings.
The Blue Comets (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Frontenac (Frontenac, KS). The Raiders go into the non-league game with a 2-0 record.
The Vikings (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Girard (Girard, KS). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Girard was overwhelmed by Riverton (Riverton, KS), 19-8, in a non-league game.
