The Columbus Academy Vikings baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Whitehall-Yearling Rams to 1 in the Vikings league victory on Tuesday.
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Bexley (Columbus, OH). The Lions go into the Mid-State - Ohio match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Bexley was overwhelmed by Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH), 4-2, in a league match.
The Rams (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Wellington School (Columbus, OH). The Jaguars go into the Mid-State - Ohio match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Wellington School was overwhelmed by Buckeye Valley (Delaware, OH), 17-0, in a non-league match.
