The Long County Blue Tide crushed the host Groves Rebels baseball team by a tally of 16-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Blue Tide now hold a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Johnson for a 3A Area 3 bout on Tuesday, April 11.
Next, the Rebels face the Calvary Day Cavaliers (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Area 3 bout, on Tuesday, April 11. Groves will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 15-6 record after their 9-7 non-league loss to Troup County (LaGrange, GA).
