The North Panola Cougars baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Holly Springs Hawks to 3 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.
The Cougars (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS). The Lions go into the 3A Region 2 match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Rosa Fort was overwhelmed by Independence (Independence, MS), 18-0, in a league match.
The Hawks (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Byhalia (Byhalia, MS). The Indians go into the 3A Region 2 match with a 3-4 record.
