In Tuesday's league game, the host Middleton Tigers baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Humboldt Vikings.
The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Wheeler (Wheeler, MS). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Wheeler got by Myrtle (Myrtle, MS), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Humboldt falls to 0-6 on the season. The Vikings host South Fulton (South Fulton, TN) to encounter the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. South Fulton won 19-4 in their recent league challenge against Gleason (Gleason, TN)
