The Southwestern Spartans baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Jac-Cen-Del Eagles to 13 in the Spartans non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their match against South Decatur (Greensburg, IN). The Cougars go into the Mid-Hoosier match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, South Decatur tipped Jac-Cen-Del (Osgood, IN), 14-4, in a non-league match.
