The Lucas Cubs baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Loudonville Redbirds to 6 in the Cubs league victory on Tuesday.
The Cubs (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against New London (New London, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, New London edged Monroeville (Monroeville, OH), 14-8, in a league outing.
Next, the Redbirds confront the Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, April 6. Loudonville will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Mounties go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 league loss to South Central (Greenwich, OH).
