In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Statesboro Blue Devils baseball team scored a tight 7-3 victory over the Swainsboro Tigers.
The Blue Devils (13-6) will now prepare for their game against Savannah Country Day (Savannah, GA). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 10-12 record.
The Tigers (15-7) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors come into the 1A D-I Area 2 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Jefferson County got by East Laurens (East Dublin, GA), 9-1, in a league contest.
