In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting New Hanover Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Hoggard Vikings.
The Wildcats (10-1) will now prepare for their game against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions go into the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, North Brunswick was overwhelmed by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 5-2, in a non-league game.
The Vikings (7-5) will now prepare for their game against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans go into the game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, West Brunswick tipped South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 4-3, in a league game.
