Virginia High School Lacrosse - First Colonial held off by Kempsville

Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA), 12-11 in a league battle.

The Chiefs now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tallwood for a Beach battle on Wednesday, April 5. Kempsville will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.

Next up, the Patriots battle the Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) in a Beach outing, on Thursday, April 6. First Colonial will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 3-0 record after their 14-8 league win over Cox (Virginia Beach, VA).
