Texas High School Softball - Como-Pickton bounces Alba-Golden

The Como-Pickton Eagles routed the host Alba-Golden Panthers softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Eagles (25-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX). The Bears go into the 1A Region III District 17 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Sulphur Bluff was routed by North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX), 11-2, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now sport a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Detroit for a 1A Region III District 17 battle on Thursday, April 6. Alba-Golden will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Rivercrest (Bogata, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
