The Pearland Oilers routed the visiting Alief Elsik Rams softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Oilers (23-3) will now prepare for their battle against Alvin (Alvin, TX). The Yellowjackets go into the 6A Region III District 23 battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Alvin topped Dawson (Pearland, TX), 7-1, in a league battle.

The Rams now sport a 7-20 record. They play next when they host Shadow Creek for a 6A Region III District 23 outing on Thursday, April 6. Alief Elsik will encounter a Sharks team coming off a 18-7 league loss to Pearland (Pearland, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 6-10.
