Tennessee High School Softball - Clinton bounces Anderson County

The Clinton Dragons routed the visiting Anderson County Mavericks softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Dragons (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Maryville, TN). The Mountaineers go into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Heritage nudged Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN), 2-0, in a league battle.

The Mavericks now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Carter for a non-league battle on Friday, April 7. Anderson County will meet a Green Hornets squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, TN). The Green Hornets record now stands at 8-2.
