Auburndale Bloodhounds (Auburndale, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Bloodhounds now own a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lake for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. Auburndale will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, Lake Region falls to 17-4 on the campaign. The Thunder travel to Mulberry (Mulberry, FL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Mulberry lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL)
