The McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) softball routed the host Bowie Pirates (Simms, TX), 9-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Longhorns (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bloomburg (Bloomburg, TX). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region III District 18 bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Bloomburg was routed by Harleton (Harleton, TX), 15-0, in a non-league bout.
