The Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) softball nipped the host Morton Potters (Morton, IL), 6-5 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Little Giants (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL). The Tigers go into the Inter County bout with a 4-1 record. In their last bout, Illini Bluffs held off Brimfield (Brimfield, IL), 13-3, in a league bout.
The Potters now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Metamora for a Mid-Illini bout on Thursday, April 6. Morton will confront a Redbirds squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Washington (Washington, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 4-2.
