Tiverton Tigers (Tiverton, RI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Central Knights (Providence, RI), 14-3 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston East for a Division 3 challenge on Thursday, April 6. Tiverton will battle a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 20-5 league loss to Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Central falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Classical (Providence, RI) to battle the Purples in a Division 3 challenge on Friday, April 7. The Purples enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Classical lost 16-1 in their recent league challenge against Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI)
