Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL) and the visiting Greensboro Raiders (Greensboro, AL), witnessed Dallas County's softball squad tip Greensboro by a count of 1-0.
The Hornets now sport a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Prattville Christian Academy for a 4A Area 5 match on Thursday, April 6. Dallas County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Wilcox Central (Camden, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-7.
