Kentucky High School Softball - East Ridge bounces Phelps

East Ridge Warriors (Lick Creek, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paintsville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 6. East Ridge will face a Tigers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Martin County (Inez, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 2-10.
With the loss, Phelps falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Belfry (Belfry, KY) to face the Pirates in a District 60 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 4-2.
