The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) and the host Greensville County Eagles (Emporia, VA), saw Windsor's softball squad nip Greensville County by a count of 5-0.
The Dukes now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin for a Tri-Rivers match on Thursday, April 6. Windsor will face a Broncos squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Broncos record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Greensville County falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA) to face the Bulldogs in a Tri-Rivers match on Tuesday, April 18. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 1-3.
