Holland Hornets (Holland, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Thrall Tigers (Thrall, TX), 12-8 in a league challenge.

The Hornets now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Bartlett for a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Thursday, April 6. Holland will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Milano (Milano, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-18.

With the loss, Thrall falls to 11-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bremond (Bremond, TX) to face the Tigers in a 2A Region IV District 27 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-3. Bremond won 12-7 in their recent league challenge against Granger (Granger, TX)
