The Valley Vikings softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Hope Christian Huskies to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Valley moves its record to 6-13 on the year. The Vikings travel to Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM) to clash with the Knights in a 4A District 6 game on Friday, April 7. The Knights come into the game with a record of 2-13. Del Norte lost 16-0 in their recent league game against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM)

In their next game, the Huskies clash with the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 6. Hope Christian will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Horsemen come into the game with a 4-7 record after their 12-3 league win over Raton (Raton, NM).
