The Jackson Aggies routed the host W.S. Neal Eagles softball squad by a count of 8-3 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Aggies (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL). The Tigers go into the 4A Area 2 battle with a 22-5 record.

The Eagles now sport a 10-16 record. They play next when they travel to Cottage Hill Christian Academy for a 3A Area 1 battle on Wednesday, April 5. W.S. Neal will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 15-3 league loss to Flomaton (Flomaton, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-10.
