The Los Alamitos Griffins routed the host Marina Vikings softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Griffins (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA). The Sailors go into the Sunset battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Newport Harbor was routed by Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA), 17-0, in a league battle.
