In Tuesday's non-league contest, the St. Catherine's Saints (Richmond, VA) softball team held off the visiting Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, St. Catherine's moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Saints host Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 6. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 5-1. Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association won 11-0 in their recent non-league contest against Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA)
In their next game, the Mavericks play the Fuqua Falcons (Farmville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Miller School of Albemarle will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 11-1 league loss to Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA).
