The West Blocton Tigers routed the host Montevallo Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Tigers (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hale County (Moundville, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Hale County was routed by Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL), 10-4, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to American Christian Academy for a 4A Area 6 battle on Thursday, April 6. Montevallo will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Leeds (Leeds, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 17-3.
